You may have heard that Somatic Yoga is for restoration or elimination of pain. But that is only half the story! Somatic Yoga cultivates more body awareness to increase your range of movement – at whatever level you are at.
If you think young, you’ll feel young. We have all heard the adage, “Change your mind and your body changes.” Rigid and stodgy thinking reflects rigid and stodgy body movements.
The great news is that it also works in the reverse. Start moving your body. Start regaining lost movement ability. Increase your range of motion and watch how your brain switches on and lights up. As a result, your thinking patterns and even your emotional feelings get freed up.
When you feel better, you move better, and so you are better …healthier and happier.
It is a simple recipe.
